I realized something this weekend...
I'm a total people watcher!
Leave me in a crowded place and I could be amused for hours just watching others..
On the subway I tend to look at peoples shoes... I like to see what peoples shoes say about them.. Why they chose to wear certain shoes or where they may be going in those shoes..
In malls I could sit there on a bench and watch peoples behavior. I watch families and see how the parents react to the children screaming or watch a new couple who must hold hands at all times even when there is no space on an escalator and he is standing behind her..
Or even the random single shopper who looks so assertive and focused on what they came to the mall to do...
Oh and who can leave out the flocks of pre-teen and teenagers who got dropped off at the mall by mommy so they could slap on some lipstick, hike up their skirts and meet with the boys.
I even people watch on TV for gods sakes!
Reality show junkie here HELLO!
ah well at least I can keep myself amused in random places right? lol
Are you a people watcher?

That's the pathetic view from my window right now....
Does this weather help me feel cheerful after a very emotionally draining yesterday? NO
Does it make me want to crawl back into bed and never leave? YES
Does it motivate me to want to work? NO
Does it make me want to go straight home instead of to the gym? YES
Gloomy Tuesdays....
What are they good for?
Bah Humbug...
Its Friday... Its October & its the month from heaven and financial hell all at the same time!
I have 10 birthdays this month.... not just randoms either.... close friends & family.. not to mention Mr.BF's 2 days into next month.
While I love this month for its brisk weather, pumpkin goodies, Halloween & birthday parties which I love I also dread this month financially! Presents & dinners & birthday outings....
It seems every year I end up adding a birthday or 2 to this month too... Was everyone's parents getting busy in February?
Anyone else have a ton of b-days this month?

Last night I watched the series premier of Hoarders on A&E. A show about compulsive hoarders, people who keep any and everything because they simply cant bear to part with it.
Wikipedia describes it as:
Compulsive hoarding (or pathological hoarding) is the acquisition of, and failure to use or discard, such a large number of seemingly useless possessions that it causes significant clutter and impairment to basic living activities such as mobility, cooking, cleaning, showering or sleeping. A person who engages in compulsive hoarding is commonly said to be a "pack rat", in reference to that animal's apparent fondness for material objects.
Anyway after watching the show and seeing some of the nastiest images of living conditions I have ever seen in the western world I have come to the conclusion that I need to throw things away more!
Here are some images of hoarding I found online.
Its no where as bad as those on the show who couldn't even walk through the house because "stuff" covered the floors. I simply have one room that has a lot of things from my old condo in boxes. Kinda like a storage room. I keep things because I "may" need them one day but screw that shit I'm throwing everything out this month.
There is no way in hell I'm becoming like them!
Its weird because the rest of my house is uncluttered & minimalistic but its that one room! Doesn't everyone have one room they use as storage?
Anyone want a FREE 42" Samsung TV? lol ... no seriously if you're in the Toronto area email me!
Operation clean up is underway!
WOW! What a great movie... If you haven't bothered to see it yet I highly suggest you do.
I was impressed by all the actors especially Antonique Smith as Faith Evans and Jamal Woolard as Biggie.
Anyways I loved it!
Have you seen it? Loved it? Hated it?
Speak your mind!

Have you ever been in a store, taken item to the cash and been charged less than you were supposed to? What did you do? Did you tell the cashier their mistake or just keep quiet?
This has happened to me twice this week...
Bath & Body works is having a sale and it was buy 2 get one free so I'm thinking great I gather my items 2 Fig & Brown Sugar body lotions & 1 Fig & Brown Sugar body pray. I love this scent and its now discontinued. I also picked up their rose blame or whatever its called that can be used on lips, elbows, face & cuticles.
I'm up at the cash and the girl cant find the sku for the sale so she asks the guy to her right and he says oh just punch it in and take off a zero. She does this and lets me know my total is $19.95.....
I know this isnt correct or rather I thought something was up since it didnt quite make sense however I wasnt about to say something I mean what if I was wrong.
After I left I checked the bill and noticed she charged me for ONE and have me TWO free!
Then yesterday I was with Mr.25 and we headed to this flee market near his place and there was a Revlon sale there so I was like hellz yeah lets go! I ended up picking up some transparent pvc bags for my kit and Revlons Bare It All luminzing lotion in 2 colors.
The lotions were 2 for $5 but when I got to the cash the guy only charged me a $1 each...
I felt kinda bad when I left but didn't say anything... truthfully I'm not sure I ever would unless it was a HUGE difference....
What would you do? Would you correct their mistake?

Waking up with itchy eyes that no matter how hard you to to scratch still remain itchy.
They puff so much no makeup will help.
Nose running so fast you cant catch it.
So stuffed you are forced to breathe through your mouth which only leads to dry lips...
You sneeze so much and so fast people look at you like you're mad..
I run to the medicine cabinet to find relief...
WHAT?!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOO......
An empty pack.....
What dumb ass put an empty pack in the cabinet??
Is this a sick joke?
Ugh..
So suffer I must today....
because I'm the dumb ass....
Damn you allergies..... damn you!
Dear peeps,
I would like to thank you all for the kind words on Fridays post. I was and still am going through a very trying time in my personal family life and your comments, emails and messages really helped me feel loved.
I know some of you may want to know how my weekend went besides all the drama so why don't I share.
Although I was feeling quite down Friday I talked to my mommy and she told me not to cancel my plans for the weekend and to just go out and have fun. As you know I had a date planed with Mr. Crab for that night and decided that I should go and make the most of it.
He picked me up and we headed out for sushi at one of my favorite places. Dinner went well, conversation was ok.. I wouldn't say flowing but not bad either. He had an issue with eye contact that irritated me but I chocked it up to nerves and let it go.
He asked me at dinner if I was still up for seeing a movie and I said sure. We decided on Star Trek (which btw was awesome!! Even if you are like me and have never watched an episode of that show in your life...) We sit down and its packed not a single seat left. He turns to me and says "if I fall asleep wake me up".... ooooh kay...
Movie starts, the first half hour was fine... then at one point I look over and the man is fully sleeping. I giggled to myself and nudged him... he smiles and says sorry... we go back to watching...
10 minutes later his eyes are closed hes in a comfy position and his head is starting to slide. Do I wake him up again? He did tell me to not let him sleep... I nudge him again and say " do you want to watch or sleep, if you want to sleep I wont wake you up"... " no no I want to watch I'm SO sorry I'm awake now".....
I think you can see where this is going..... 5 mins later he was fast asleep and I didn't bother waking him up.
The man slept for 50% of our god damn date!!!
He woke up at the end and said "oh I guess I missed most of that huh" ... Uh YEAH!
He dropped me home and I pretty much said peace out and got outta the car... In my head I was thinking what a freakin waste of time that was and that he probably wasn't interested only as I left the car he said sorry again and said he had a really nice time... the next day he text me and wanted to know how my day was... if he wasn't interested why make contact? He msn'd me last night too...
I haven't been acting interested at all, Im kinda turned off to be honest.... If you know you fall asleep in movie why on earth would you take someone to one on a first date??!
Moron!
As for my date with Mr.25 on Sunday... I canceled... I wanted to see him but was kinda overwhelmed with all the stuff going on personally as well as my retarded date on Friday. We did end up talking yesterday for hours and I have to say he was SO understanding and supportive of my situation (the personal one not the bad date, he didn't know about that).
I may see him Wednesday and I'm actually looking forward to it!
Kinda goes to show you that 33 or 25.. I guess age doesn't really matter... at least the 25 yr old didn't fall asleep on our first date!!!
Stay Pretty ;)
Over the weekend I went to go visit my GF who just got married at her new house (was just her husbands home before the wedding) and I was under the impression Id get the tour then we would go for coffee and catch up....
She brought up going to Canadian Tire to check out some patio furniture for their backyard and asked me if I wouldn't mind going... I LOVE that kinda stuff and after she said she wanted my opinion I felt needed and who doesn't love that?!
I began to put my shoes on and her husband reaches for his jacket.... Oh ok I guess hes coming with... cool...
This is going to be a bit 3rd wheelish no? Me and the newlyweds patio shopping... ok maybe it wont be so bad....
It was! Not that they did anything wrong really but I walked a few paces behind them and listened to them make couple decisions & couple compromises and felt kind of guilty almost for being a part of this moment. Very fly on the wall-ish.
It was so nice... for them.
I was so happy for her in that moment, shes been through a rough past and it was so nice to see her happy and in something that seemed so "real" whatever that means.
I pushed my own thoughts as far back into my head as I could, no one needed to know how much I wanted that. How I looked at them from the outside wondering if that would ever be my life someday...
After all it was their moment... A simple and beautiful moment meant for them....
A moment not meant for me....
Well I don't have time to post much today as its one CRAZY day but I just wanted to say have a wonderful weekend. I will be attending to my girl this weekend as she gets married. Yup another wedding.... It sucks being one of the last single ones!
However I have made a promise to myself wanna hear it? Here goes....
-I will not cry, kick or scream
-I will not feel sorry for myself or throw my hands up and yell WHY?!
-I will not steal any of the brides spotlight in hopes a young available man will spot me
-I will not make fake conversations with any aunties or uncles who I don't know just to meet that somewhat normal looking man at their table
-I will not wear a fake engagement ring just so people I haven't seen in a while will think I've got something on the go or in the works
-I will not get drunk and try to pretend I know how to Bhangra... (good thing its a Muslim wedding with only fruit juice and water huh!)
Oh and
-I will not do her makeup so over the top so I look better than her muahaha jks I would never!
Yes this covers just some of the promises I've made for this weekend to myself... oh and the bride... hehe
Ok I promise you I'm really not depressed about this at all I'm super happy for her.... really I am....
Stay Pretty ;)
It totally sucks large hairy balls that I dont have a freakin camera :( As you may or may not remember depending on how good your memory works or how much of the text in my posts you actually read that I somehow, some way cracked the screen of my amazing canon that I got in hong kong last feb.
You know what this means??? It means all the pics I SO want to take for you my lovelies I cant because the camera on my blackberry not only sucks and swallows but its a royal pain in the butt to get the pics off my phone. YES im one of those ppl that has a blackberry and refuses to add my email account to it.... I just dont want to be THAT reachable!!! And FYI I dont even have facebook on my BB... *gasp* I know even people with brick phones have FB on them... yeah well Im difficult ok!
Argh I wanted to show you all the cool and crazy purple eyes I did just for fun in class today or the awesome bangle I purchased after school... I took pics on my phone and ill prob post them this weekend but right now im SO drained that all I can think about is sleep, my bed and dragging my butt outta bed for one more weekday to face the cold, damp, darkness of old man winter....
Hope all is well with you all in the blogworld. Missing you much!
Stay Pretty ;)
Thanks

Yeah that's right I don't celebrate xmas... always wanted to but never have (due to religion in case you were wondering). It didn't bother me much growing up because I grew up in an area where most others didn't celebrate it either but there was always a small part of me that would light up when I was out and about and saw anything christmasy.

Im not a dress girl... I realize I mention countless times in my blog that I am a girly girl but believe it or not, not all girly girls love wearing dresses. I dont think they look nice on me, I always have a hard time finding dresses that can cover the "girls" enough so that I dont look like a hooker or accidently flash the crowd and dresses require me to shave more then I already do and thats a pain in the butt.... tmi?
Ive complied a list of reasons why I hate dress (especially bridesmaids dress) shopping...
- pushy sales ladies who are almost always mid 50's with glasses that sit on the tip of their noses who rush you in and out of every dress just so they can get to their next appointment.
- the fugly dress colors... why oh why do bridesmaids sample dresses come in puke green or sorbet orange.... I mean wouldn't more neutral colors help them sell more dresses?
- the fact that all the sample dresses are either too big or too small... I mean I know they cant have every style in every size but how do you expect me to know if I would look good in a dress that I cant even get over my hips? and of course the one you LOVE doesnt fit!
-the fact that I already know going in that ill be forking over big bucks for a dress I will most likely never ever wear again.. Yeah ive seen 27 dresses!
-the fact that we have to order the dresses 6 months before the wedding... what if my Turbo Jam workout somehow makes me the size of kate moss by then?

Anyway you get the point.... I hate dress shopping because it almost always makes me feel like crap after BUT I sucked it up and put a smile on because I love my girl and she wants us all in Alfred Angelo dresses next May!
Some good did come out of the evening though.. I ended up finding 2 pairs of boots I'll really need come January when Im back at school downtown trekking through the snow. I got 2 pairs for $90!!! Ive been searching for months for reasonably priced boots that I actually liked and I found 2 for an amazing price...even if they only last through this winter.

After yesterday's post and seeing Ralph Tresvants horrible mustache from back in the day I got to thinking... Are mustache's ever really OK?

Now don't be discouraged my dear American friends as they DO ship internationally at what seems to be very reasonable rates!
Ive purchased 2 Pashmina shawls with swarovski's all over SOO pretty and I also recently got a full genuine freshwater pearl set which included earrings, necklace and a bracelet. I did a lot of research prior to ordering the pearls and for this size and quality this site had the best deals!
Anyway just go check em out if you are looking for some awesome & beautiful gifts I promise you will heart these items as much as I do!!
