This past weekend my fav west coaster Mich came to visit for the 2nd time this year (lucky me!).
As per usual we gossiped, talked till we fell asleep, laughed at random things only we would find funny & had McD's at 2am!
Good Times indeed!

This weekend I have a lot going on and I think I may need a few red bulls to get through it.
Tomorrow morning I got an amazing gig. Its for a magazine shoot with an actor and its the first time my work is being published in a mag so I'm excited :)
Here we are on her trip here last year
Tomorrow night me and Mich have dinner/catch up on our lives plans. We need to take it easy because Friday bright and early we are driving to Niagara Falls & Buffalo for some cross border shopping.We will probably arrive home really late as we want to make the most of it.
Saturday we will probably head down to harbourfront for a stroll by the water, then its party time as we head downtown to party it up with all our friends.
Sunday I have a gig doing a brides bridal shower makeup but I'm also invited so I shall be there all afternoon.
Monday I head back to work and then after work I have to take Mich to the airport as she leaves me :(
Bring on the red bulls!!!
Oh and get this.... Mr.BF was at my place yesterday before I got home and cleaned practically the entire place so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home from work because he knew Mich was coming.... WOW! Could I be any luckier??? Yes ladies he even cleaned the bathrooms!

This past weekend was a long weekend here in Canada so we got to enjoy Monday off woohoo!
Anyway Friday I went out with the girls for a long overdue "girls night". We ended up at some club which was ok but totally reminded me of going clubbing in high school.
Anyway I decided to try out false lashes for the first time ever and here how it looked... What do you think?
I was not impressed with the wakeup call as I had only crawled into bed at 2am from my girls night but was super stoked for the drive.... Yes I'm one of those, who LOVES all the random cows, billy goats and horses along the way up north!
I was going to be meeting his grandfather and a lot of his aunts, uncles and cousins but I wasn't nervous at all... more excited.
We finally arrived and I was welcomed by his gramps with a huge hug... aww how cute :)
It set the tone for the day and I couldn't have felt more welcome or comfortable.

I don't like beer really but, hey when in cottage country do as they do!
We hung out had lunch, he played some guitar for me and then we went on the speed boat for a ride around the lake and so that Mr.BF could go water skiing.
I have never been water skiing let alone seen someone I know doing it so it was cool... the idea of water skiing was out of the question for the rest of us given the hiding sun and weedy waters but Mr.BF was a trooper.
To my surprise he did really well... Who knew!

After the boat ride I needed a nap given the lack of sleep so I lay down with this cute lil guy.. the BFs fams dog "Bear" I heart him!
There was also this dog at the cottage named Murphy... Looks innocent and sweet huh? NOPE! Found out the next day from his mom that Murphy had attacked the neighbours tiny lil dog and he would now need surgery. NUTS!
This weekend was simply a preview of whats to come as we head up to the cottage for the entire weekend in 2 weeks, cant wait!
Can I get an AMEN for short weeks?!!

Its going to be a crazy weekend in Toronto with Caribana going on... I mean you know with all the young American boys walking behind unsuspecting girls filming their booties... UGH now I remember why I don't hit up all the parties....
This past weekend one of my best friends had her engagement party. She had asked me a while ago if I could do her makeup for this event and of course being her BFF and MOH I quickly agreed.
Her dress was a beautiful peach color and she wanted to incorporate some of those shades in her makeup so this is what I came up with. These pics were all taken before mascara as she wanted to do that at the last minute before she left the house.

Some drunk chick drops her drink on the floor right in front of me, glass goes flying and her vodka cranberry splashes up ALL over my brand new hot white top!!!!
Figures right!! UGH I really hope my dry cleaner can take it out before I head to the west coast Friday cuz I really want to wear it again :(
Speaking of which I'm heading to Vancouver & Seattle Friday for my gramps 89th bday & a mini family reunion! I cant wait to get the 100 questions about my love life and how come I'm not married yet.. oh and who can forget the comments on my weight and how come I'm not supermodel skinny!... gotta love old people lol... they mean well but SHIT!

Saturday night was one of my BBF's bdays...
I was smart and didn't eat dinner but decided to drink...
Which lead to me being sick that night... and the next morning...
Poor Mr.25 being the great guy he is took care of me the whole weekend.

What a wonderful day Sunday was!
One of my best friends and her man of 14 years finally got hitched!
We all met in grade 9 where we shared many laughs & memorable moments.
They dated then broke up due to cultural differences but remained best of friends....
They got back together shortly after but kept their relationship on the down low for nearly 12 years when they decided that it was either move forward openly or end things.
We all know how that turned out and yesterday I watched as they exchanged vows in front of their proud friends and families.
I spent the whole day avoiding tears and making sure everyone knew I wasn't a cryer but that all went down the tubes when I heard them reciting their vows. Tears flowed down my face as I tried to casually wipe them away so the camera man would have no evidence. I looked over at our other bestie standing up at the Chuppah with me and saw her red eyes and flowing tears and I got goose bumps.
This had been a long day in the making and the amount of joy and love for these two was felt all over the room.
I was so honored to be a part of their special day and look forward to watching them grow old together. AC you are now AP ;) Luv u!
