What a wonderful day Sunday was!
One of my best friends and her man of 14 years finally got hitched!
We all met in grade 9 where we shared many laughs & memorable moments.
They dated then broke up due to cultural differences but remained best of friends....
They got back together shortly after but kept their relationship on the down low for nearly 12 years when they decided that it was either move forward openly or end things.

We all know how that turned out and yesterday I watched as they exchanged vows in front of their proud friends and families.

I spent the whole day avoiding tears and making sure everyone knew I wasn't a cryer but that all went down the tubes when I heard them reciting their vows. Tears flowed down my face as I tried to casually wipe them away so the camera man would have no evidence. I looked over at our other bestie standing up at the Chuppah with me and saw her red eyes and flowing tears and I got goose bumps.

This had been a long day in the making and the amount of joy and love for these two was felt all over the room.

I was so honored to be a part of their special day and look forward to watching them grow old together. AC you are now AP ;) Luv u!

Monday I had off and it was spent hung over lol.... I also went back to my school to pick up my diploma and found out I graduated with honors baby!! woohoo!

Ok so there are only 3 days left at school and all I have to say is THANK GOD!!! Honestly I really cant wait to get back to socializing with people my own age. God some of these girls are SO immature and while I could handle it for a while after 3 months of this shit im counting down the days!

In other news you will be happy to know I shall be back to regular blogging as of late next week!!!! Which means not only will I be posting more often but I will also finally be able to catch up on all your blogs yay!!

Ok so much good news bitches!!!

My second photoshoot is tomorrow and im SO excited! This one is our black and white shoot and we can be as creative as we want SO im going with a super edgy fierce look... ill show you teasers this week...

This past week was nutso for me. I had a major assignment and presentation due which my teacher kind of told me I got 100% on even though he wasnt supposed to tell me that or the marks arent back yet... If he lied to me someones gonna get hurt lol.. either way he said he really enjoyed my presentation (on Gosh Cosmetics) and that mine was the most informational and interesting in my class.. SWEET!

Friday we had our group (in pairs) project due which was on the Westmore family (they are the first family of hollywood makeup). We had to hand in a written assignment and then give presentations. Both classes were combined and the top 3 would get a prize... Yeah ill just say that me and my partner won a prize BooYah! I got a small case full of makeup and accessories which is really going to help cuz im running outta mascara wands.

I have some other news I want to share but ill save that for my mid week post :)

I Had my in class period makeup practical test today and I got the 1920's which we were told to modernize a bit.

The makeup at this time was pale faces, red lips that were drawn on smaller than the actual lips and super dark eyes that not only covered the lid but wrapped down to the bottom lashes also. The brows were thin, long & round and the mascara was thick and clumpy. This look kinda of makes the face look sad.

I hope I did well... wont know till I get the marks back...

Do you use any Gosh products?? Do you have a favorite? Pros/cons on the products you've tried...

Any info would be great.. Im pretty sure they sell this line in the US but I know for sure they sell it in Canada and the UK.

1 written test thurs, 1 practical test friday, 2 projects due tues, 1 presentation tues & 1 presentation wed... Yikes this is going to be a crazy month for me.... The good news is im now a senior and I only have 5 more weeks until I am Far the certified makeup artist!!

I need to think of a business name... something catchy for my business cards and perhaps website... any ideas???

Today I had my very first photoshoot. The theme was bridal and as mentioned before I choose to do a "bollywood" Indian wedding and it turned out awesome!! I had a blast and as you can see below I had a stunning model (sorry boys shes taken!). My camera is broken as you all know and of course my girl forgets her camera so after the shoot in the car ride home I snapped this pic...

You cant tell from the crappy blackberry quality but I used aquas and golds for her eyes... Im actually really proud of how this look turned out and how well my girl did as my model :)

There simply is not enough time in the day ahhh!

I will give you a quicky though...

so schools going well... bitchface still comes in everyday with a face that looks like she wants to hurt anyone in sight, The girl who announces her sex life is still indeed letting us know about her sex life amongst other things, and some crazy lady yelled at me to move on the subway the other day even though I was 2 feet away.. that was an interesting experience to say the least...

I worked behind the scenes of the Suhaag Wedding fashion show which is an Indian bridal show here in Toronto. Our school did the make up and hair which was an awesome experience. I have my bridal photoshoot at the end of this month which im pretty excited for... its crazy I only have a month and a half left its going SO fast!

This weekend is a long weekend here since next monday is "Family Day" and its also Valentines day weekend... bah its so over rated... im going out for dinner fri but sat im going to see my friend spin at this anti love lounge party :)
